This is to notify you that the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District and its contracted helicopter company, North Fork Helicopter’s Ltd., will be conducting aerial larvicide applications in the district today, April 22, 2024 possibly through Tuesday, April 23, 2024 between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:30 pm daily (weather/wind permitting).
The following is a list of the numbers of the helicopters and a brief description of them to help you confirm their presence if residents call.
MD 500 - N50QD – Black
Robinson R44 – N31419
The trade name of the granular formulation of Bti to be used is VectoBac GS (EPA Reg. #73049-10). This is not a “spray”.
