BOIL WATER ALERT in effect for Customers of the Dover Main System

A boil water order has been issued for the customers of the Dover Main System, as shown on the map below, due to an emergency issue that occurred at our Frances St. wells while performing routine maintenance requiring removing them from service and loss of pressure in the area. Please bring all water to a rolling boil and let it boil for at least one (1) minute or use bottled water until further notice. Discard all ice, beverages uncooked foods, and formula made with tap water collected on or before 11:00 AM, today, September 8, 2023. We are working to restore full water pressure and collecting bacteria samples and will alert you when you no longer need to boil the water.

Customers under the boil water advisory are highlighted in the map below.
