DOVER BOARD OF SELECTMEN
REMOTE PUBLIC HEARING
FY24 TAX CLASSIFICATION
In accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40, Section 56, the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Dover will hold a remote Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM to determine the percentages of the local tax levy for Fiscal Year 2024 to be borne by each class of real property and by personal property and whether a residential or small commercial exemption should be granted. This vote must be taken before the tax rate is set and the bills sent out. The Selectmen urge any interested residents to attend the Hearing to express their views on this issue. The Hearing will be held remotely and instructions for public participation will be on the Board of Selectmen November 21, 2023 meeting agenda which can be viewed at www.doverma.gov 48 hours in advance of the Hearing.
