How do I get recognized to speak at Town Meeting?: The Moderator will recognize you when you raise your hand. It is always helpful to contact the Moderator before Town Meeting or attend the Moderator’s Meeting held the week before Town Meeting if you know that you want to be recognized during the discussion of a particular article.

1. How do I get an item on the Town Meeting Warrant?: The Selectmen determine when the Warrant is open and articles will be accepted. Usually, it opens around the first of December and closes at the end of January for the May Annual Town Meeting. Call the Board of Selectmen’s Office for more information.
