April Break: HIKES + CRAFTS
It's springtime and there's no school, so let's head outside -rain or shine- to explore four different, beautiful local woodland properties!
On each unique trail we will learn about the land, plants and animals that surround us - then we'll make a creative artwork - which can vary from watercolor paintings to nature mandalas, rocks and mineral art to walking stick decoration - each day our project will incorporate the special outdoor space that we've just experienced, with our own imaginations!
Ages: Kindergarten - 5th grade

BABYSITTING LESSONS, SAFETY & CPR CERTIFICATION COURSE
Teens looking to establish themselves in the highly-competitive, local babysitting market will greatly benefit from this detailed training and certification workshop!
Learn the skills in child care, engagement and safety that show parents that you value the skills necessary to care for their children. Practice performing first aid for common childhood injuries, how to prevent and relieve choking, learn tips for calmly and responsibly evaluating medical emergencies such as when to administer life-saving CPR and how to properly call 911. You will also learn tips and tricks for growing your very own babysitting business through interview preparedness and lessons on safe activities for different ages, and we will practice interpersonal skills that can help you to stand out from the crowd in this very competitive field!
- All participants attending the full course will receive their own Babysitting Lessons & Safety Training Certificate and a First Aid Book.
- Additionally, those who successfully complete the CPR/AED course and evaluations will receive an official American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification Card (good for two full years / will not expire until 2025)
Ages: 6th - 8th grade
There will be a Maximum of 12 Participants permitted into this course.

CARYL ART CLUB
In this class your young artist will develop their interest and skill in the creative arts through exploration of a variety of styles and mediums.
Over the course of our session, we will introduce and explore famous artists, learning about their unique ways of making art, then changing whatever we want to make new creations through play with color, material, size, shade and tone - each week challenging ourselves until we have each made our very own, completely unique, works of art!
Ages: Kindergarten - 3rd grade

ERIN'S SCHOOL OF DANCE
Erin McCann is a certified Dance Educators of America teacher with over 30 years of experience working with Dover and surrounding area students. Erin's non-competitive and exhilaratingly fun classes are offered in a wide-range of genres where students will learn the art of dance at their own pace in a nurturing, personalized environment.
Some students may take their love of dance to the stage and others on to a professional dance career. No matter what path they choose, each student's deep, heartfelt appreciation of dance will last a lifetime!

HOME ALONE SAFETY COURSE
Are you looking to teach your growing child the responsibility and safety skills necessary for time spent at home alone? Provide them with all of the introductory skills needed to take their first steps towards independence!
Participants will learn about accident prevention and fire safety. They will practice common first aid techniques, from applying simple bandages to how to relieve choking, and will learn how to properly call 911.
We will spend time discussing safe internet use, when to answer the door (NEVER!) and brainstorm positive and productive skills that will help us to use our time wisely, make safe choices and grow their confidence, and yours!
Ages: 3rd - 5th grade
There will be a Maximum of 15 Participants permitted into this course.

ICE SKATING LESSONS
The Skating Club of Boston is New England’s premier figure skating club, and home to a community of families, athletes and professionals united by their love of ice skating and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the sport. From recreational skaters to Olympic hopefuls, beginners to lifelong enthusiasts, The Skating Club of Boston will provide you or your little skaters with the resources and relationships necessary to meet your own individual skating goals and dreams!

SPRING SESSION REGISTRATION FOR LESSONS BEGINNING IN MID-APRIL 2024 WILL OPEN ON MARCH 4, 2024 AT 10 AM.
Some examples of available lesson levels...
- FIRST STEPS (pre-K beginners) - Uniquely designed for younger children, the First Steps program introduces skating in a fun group environment. Each skater will build confidence in their on-ice capabilities, and in themselves, through fun activities and games. Skaters can progress at their own rate in a positive environment, and will advance after learning the required skills.
- BASIC SKILLS (levels 1- 6) - In this fun, goal-oriented program, beginner ice skaters will receive instruction on a variety of introductory skills following the U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey curriculums. Skaters can progress at their own rate in a positive environment, and will advance after learning the required skills.
- BASIC SKILLS: ADVANCED (levels 4-6) - Taking Basic Skills to the next level by increasing skaters’ skills and ability, and introducing more advanced edges, jumps and spins.
- BRIDGE ASPIRE (levels 4 and higher, focusing entirely on figure skating) - This program offers figure skaters an introduction to elements exclusive to the sport, and provides the next steps to those who will continue to skate recreationally or move forward competitively. On-ice work focuses on stroking, edges and power skating, introductory moves in the field, spins, and jumps. The off-ice curriculum includes proper stretching techniques, conditioning exercises and warm-up and cool-down tips.

INTRO TO GYMNASTICS
Intro to Gymnastics offers a unique twist for your beginning gymnast. Using age-appropriate equipment and fun techniques, your child will gain creative and rhythmic movement as well as flexibility, balance, gross motor skills, and other gymnastics fundamentals.
Exploring equipment such as beams, cylinders, high bar, humps, springboard and wedges, your child will learn, progress and have fun!

MICRO WHEELS
Through use of a variety of unique wheeled, and non-wheeled toys, MicroWheels is designed to teach the fundamentals of, and build the motor skills and confidence necessary for, riding a bike without training wheels!
Each weekwill begin with a brief stretch and warm-up games to get participants up and moving. Then we will introduce a new, wheeled toy, such as scoot boards, three wheel scooters, balance boards and more - until we progress to a two-wheeled bicycle! Adding in an array of diverse games and activities designed to develop strength, balance and knowledge of bicycles, these determined riders will develop the skills needed to ride successfully, safely and most importantly, have FUN!

LEARN TO SKATEBOARD
Designed for beginner skateboarders with little to no experience, this clinic teaches fundamental skateboarding skills and some cool tricks! Concentrating on strong balance, accelerating, stopping, turning,and transitions, we will also learn about and try Ollies, Frontsides and Dropping In. With a fun mix of basics and tricks, Learn To Skateboard clinic will help participants develop their skateboarding fundamentals and the confidence to apply them on their own!
Proper safety equipment (helmet, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards) lace-up rubber-sole sneakers and a skateboard are required, and all safety gear must remain on at all times.
For those who can not bring a skateboard, bring one, they can be provided for the day, but you must select the rental option at registration!

NINJA WARRIOR
Ninja Warrior is an exciting class with a blend of fitness, flexibility, strength, skill and fun! Throughout the session, participants will engage in various drills, elements, games and obstacle courses.
From scaling up cargo nets on a truss, to walking across balance beams, climbing over an A-frame, to hanging on monkey bars, this class allows participants to have fun while progressing through elements and mastering gross motor and athletic skills,such as flexibility, balance, and upper body strength!

MUSICAL THEATRE

Come join the fun of taking part in a real musical theater performance where you'll sing, dance and act your way into a world of excitement!
Learn the basics of putting together a production by auditioning for and performing the roles from a popular Disney musical. Then, at the end of the session, our actor/dancers will perform all the lines, song lyrics and choreographed dances they have learned and practiced for family and friends to enjoy in a LIVE performance!

PROFORMANCE SOCCER
PROformance Soccer is a leading MA soccer training program, whose core philosophies are derived through playing, coaching and learning from some of the most respected clubs and brightest minds from around the world of soccer.
PRE-K (4 & 5 year olds not yet in kindergarten)
This FUN, age-appropriate training program will teach your 4 & 5 year old preschooler key soccer skills in an action-packed setting, made to develop your littlest players' love of the sport!
KINDERGARTEN - 2nd GRADE
Aimed at both teaching and developing key, technical soccer skills, each week class will consist of skill work, drills and small, sided games.This age-specific curriculum is designed to be instructional as well as fun, so that newer players can learn and develop fundamentals, while inspiring a love and enthusiasm for the game!
3rd - 5th GRADE
It's time to begin improving and perfecting your key, technical soccer skills! Each week we will have skill work, drills and small, sided games designed to be instructional as well as fun, so that players can practice their fundamentals, begin to challenge themselves with more skillwork and always keeping their love and enthusiasm for the game strong!

EXPERT ARCHITECTS
Calling all architects! The next great skyscraper is waiting to be built! It's time to form your own architectural firm and start imagining the building of your dreams with Right Brain Curriculum instructors guiding you along the way - from the mathematical calculations every good architect must make, to the history of how the elevator revolutionized Manhattan. Then you’ll be ready to build!
You will consider the environment, transportation, parking, and green space as you create a working blueprint for your creation then bring it to life as a Lego model! You will even present your work to your peers and demonstrate how your tower will be the next great building of the 21st Century... the sky’s the limit!

YOUR VOICE! PUBLIC SPEAKING FOR KIDS
Let Your Voice be Heard! Public speaking can be one of life’s scariest tasks, but it doesn’t have to be!
In this fun and engaging class, you will play improvisation games, serve as an anchor in a classroom newscast, take the pro- or con- side in a debate on whether teachers should assign homework. Pretty soon you will be acquiring public speaking and presentation skills while having a blast with our Right Brain Curriculum instructors, who will coach you in using a loud voice, scanning your audience, making eye contact, speaking from notes, and making persuasive arguments - all while you gain confidence in your skills as a speaker.Let's make public speaking fun!

PRE-K INTRO to T-BALL
In this introduction to T-Ball, players will learn to properly swing a bat to hit off a 'T', while learning about each of the various field positions, becoming comfortable with base running and practicing good sportsmanship!

KINDERGARTEN INTRO to BASEBALL
In this introduction to Baseball, players will initially practice proper swing off a 'T', but will then move onto coach-pitched balls to prepare them for future league play. Program includes varied amounts of practice and game play each week, depending on the current lesson.

OUTDOOR TENNIS LESSONS
The spring tennis season will consist of nine lessons, held on a schedule of your choosing*, over nine-consecutive weeks. (Please note that meeting more than once per-week is unlikely and, if available, will incur additional registration fees.)
*Interested participants must contact Peter Cooper PRIOR TO REGISTRATION in order to schedule their lesson day and time.
