Summer Programs
Summer programs are typically held during July and August each year, with registration beginning at the same time as the spring season, around mid-February, although some programs or program sessions may start in late June, so please be sure to review your program dates at registration.

SUMMER CLUB
We will be back at The Connors Center for another year of giving you all the summer fun you can imagine... From arts & crafts to field games, group challenges and activities to walks along the Charles River bank and along beautiful wooded trails - at #DoverRec Summer Club, your child is sure to love every creative and unique day as they make forever memories with friends and our amazing summer staff!

- MONDAY, JUNE 30 - THURSDAY, JULY 3 (closed Friday 7/4) $120/ 4-day week
- MONDAY, JULY 7 - FRIDAY, JULY 11 $150/ 5-day week
- MONDAY, JULY 14 - FRIDAY, JULY 18 $150/ 5-day week

PLEASE NOTE: Age Groups = GRADE AFTER SUMMER!
WE WILL BE COMPARING OUR ROSTERS TO DISTRICT ENROLLMENT AND ANYONE REGISTERING A CHILD NOT ATTENDING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ON 8/27-28/2025 WILL BE WITHDRAWN WITHOUT REFUND.

HOURS:
Monday - Thursdays: All campers drop-off between 9:00 - 9:10am
Regular day campers pick-up between 12:00 - 12:10pm
Extended Day campers pick up between 3:00 - 3:10pm
Fridays AND Thursday 7/31: All campers drop-off between 9:00 - 9:10am
All campers pick-up between 12:00 - 12:10pm

- DROP-OFF 9:00 - 9:10am 5 min transition / all walk to first activity location
- STATION 1 9:15 - 9:45am 5 min transition / all walk to second activity location
- STATION 2 9:50 - 10:20am 5 min transition / all walk to field 2 for snack
- SNACK (at field 2) 10:25 - 10:45am 5 min transition / all walk to third activity location
- STATION 3 10:50 - 11:20am 5 min transition / all walk to fourth activity location
- STATION 4 11:25 - 11:55am 5 min transition / all walk to pick-up area
- REGULAR DAY PICK-UP 12:00 - 12:10pm
12:00 - 3:00pm EXTENDED DAY
- CHECK-IN 12:10pm 5 min transition / walk to restrooms
- GROUP RESTROOM TRIP 12:15 - 12:25pm 5 min transition / walk to field 2 for lunch
- LUNCH (at field 2) 12:30 - 12:50pm 5 min transition (see below)
- Towards the ends of lunch, kids will select 3 stations to be "open" and one to two staff members will oversee each station while kids are permitted to choose where to go and can change from one station to another by notifying staff who use our walkie-talkie attendance system to track who goes where
- THREE STATIONS 1:00 - 2:55pm 5 min transition / all walk to pick-up area
- EXTENDED DAY PICK-UP 3:00 - 3:10pm
STATIONS AND ACTIVITY INFO:
On our site map are five "main" stations. We also go on hikes and have an additional reading area, which are "extra" locations and allow for special activities spread throughout each week!
Each day, group stations will rotate through four stations (plus snack) so each days station order is completely different from one another...

YOUTH TENNIS CLINICS
This instructional clinic -focusing on comprehensive, all-around tennis skill advancement- is open to all abilities and levels of tennis experience with the goals of building confidence on the court and growing players' love of the game!

SUMMER TBALL WITH COACH PETE
In this introductory baseball program, players will develop fundamental skills, including proper batting technique (starting with hitting off a T and progressing to coach-pitched balls), fielding thrown and hit balls, base running, and understanding field positions. Emphasis is placed on sportsmanship, both on and off the field. The program combines varied weekly lessons with a mix of practice and non-competitive gameplay to build confidence and prepare players for future league play.
Grades: PreK - 1st grade

SPORTS AND GAMES CAMP
Skyhawks provides a wide variety of fun, safe and positive programs that emphasize critical lessons in sports and life, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Our programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle. For this program, our patient and knowledgeable staff use a variety of skill-building games and activities to give each athlete a complete understanding and overview of many different popular sports and games. Sports and games include dodgeball, capture the flag, soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, kickball, baseball, 4 square, flag football, team handball and many more.
Ages: 5 - 8 years old

MINI HAWKS CAMP
Embark on an adventure with Skyhawks Mini-Hawk where younger children can explore a variety of sports. Mini-Hawk programs offer a fun, structured learning environment while enhancing balance and coordination. Campers improve athletically while learning sportsmanship and teamwork. Perfect for a playful introduction to athletics! Minimum of 9 participants by August 4th to run this program.
Ages: 5 - 8 years old

CARYL ART CLUB: PALETTES AND PLAY
Explore your creative interests and develop your artistic talents without missing out on the final days of summer! In this new, week-long session of Caryl Art Club we'll explore both creative and active interests in one place. Each day we will learn about famous artists and experiment with a unique medium in preparation for a large daily project. Midday we'll head outside or to the gym, for a movement break before wrapping up the day completing our very own, unique works of art!
Ages: 6 - 10 years old
