MBTA Communities Act Special Town Meeting

Monday, September 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM

 9 Junction Street, Dover, MA 02030

At the Special Town Meeting, the Warrant Article passed 250-29, so Dover will adopt the proposed update to the zoning bylaw that would allow multi-family housing by right in a specific overlay district location in Town, in compliance with the MBTA Communities Act Requirements. (section 3A, of MGL c. 40A)

The Town Meeting Warrant lists the meeting’s time, place, and agenda. A town Meeting action is not valid unless the subject was listed on the warrant. Town officials sent out the warrant for all residents in advance of Town Meeting. The warrant contains information about the various issues that will be discussed during Town Meeting.
